Mt. Vernon Holds Annual Arts Festival

Mt. Vernon Mayor Ernest Davis announced that the city will have its largest celebration of the year, The Arts on Third Festival, on Sunday, Sept. 25 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Arts on Third Festival will showcase the music of the Intruders, the Force M.D.'s, a mini Apollo Amateur Night hosted by Billy Mitchell, a Hop Fu multimedia presentation and other surprise guests. Artists Row, Children's Lane, Sports Alley and international food courts are highlights of this annual event.
The event is sponsored by Entergy Corporation, Assemblyman Gary Pretlow, Con Edison, Time Warner Cable, Citibank and Gevity.
